Relay For Life is a community-driven, volunteer-led event. Volunteers are the heart and soul of Relay and are crucial to its success. They are passionate, dedicated and community-minded people who generously gift their time, talents and insights. This gift of time and skills also helps to reduce running costs so that more of the funds raised can go towards research and free services to help those in our community impacted by cancer.

One of the greatest joys of Relay For Life is sharing heartfelt camaraderie with the many wonderful people you meet there. People of all ages and cultures gather strength together - the experience is a great leveller.

Volunteer Roles
 
  • The Organising Committee has specific roles available. Coordinators head up areas such as Logistics, Publicity, Catering, Survivorship, Team Recruitment, Finance and Promotion.
  • There are administration roles to be filled, both before and after Relay for Life. This includes data entry and general administration.
